NOSE: Smoke and mineral accented nose, with dark berry, cherry pit, licorice, and vanilla notes.
PALATE: Expansive palate, with juicy cherry and blackcurrant flavors. Chewy tannins, and an energetic spine of acidity on the finish.
WINEMAKING: 15 months aging in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels. Rounded in bottle before release.
